Looking for a professional video production house in Vietnam to handle your next project? Look no further than our experienced team at little red ants saigon! Our comprehensive range of services include fixing, line production and remote production to help you bring your vision to life.

With production offices in Vietnam and Singapore, we have had the opportunity to work with numerous clients from around the world on various projects. One project we loved fixing for was with our clients-turned-friends at AMOK.

.

The project began when AMOK reached out to us from Singapore to help produce a series of videos for their client, Facebook Meta. The first was a remote filming assignment in Hanoi with a professional gamer for a gaming campaign. The 2nd was also a remote shoot in Ho Chi Minh City featuring the businesses Farmer’s Market and L’Oreal for a “click to message” business campaign. By the time of our 3rd and 4th collaboration, travel restrictions were finally lifted and AMOK’s EP, producer and director flew over to us for a feature with Facebook’s partners, Pancake, Aha Chat and Sapo!

In the four times we worked together with AMOK, we were responsible for securing on-the-ground logistics from arranging transportation, renting equipment, obtaining permits to hiring crew. Our senior producer, Hana, grew up in Hanoi so we leveraged on her knowledge of locations, and her local contacts for our crew of production managers, assistant director, director of photography, sound and technical crew.

The pre-production process involved AMOK sending across a list of questions and answers that they needed us to help capture, as the videos focused on interviews and B-roll footage. During the pre-interview, the director picked out the key points to be included in the final video. Thereafter, we did the necessary translation and transcribing in preparation for shoot day. We also sent location photos across for vetting and approval for the projects we coordinated during the pandemic lockdown.

During the production process, we rented out the Blackmagic ATEM to stream the live shoot onto a zoom call, which the clients joined remotely. We started the shoot days around 8-9 am and wrapped before sundown. The shoot schedules were simple–the first day was a location recce, the second day was the shoot at the businesses, and the third day was the shoot at the client's location.

One of the most exciting aspects of working on this project was the fact that it was done remotely. The clients were located overseas, but we were able to work together seamlessly through virtual communication. When the travel restrictions were lifted, we were finally able to see our friends in person and celebrated with great food and awesome wrap parties!!

Our team is dedicated to collaborating with clients and agencies alike to achieve their creative goals, while making sure that quality, welfare and fun is part of the package. It’s what we call the “little red ants (LRA) experience.” ;)
